Roca del Crit

A great tribute to the granitic slate-soils of the Empordà wine region in Catalonia, where the Garnatxa and Carinyena grapes grow in ideal conditions nearby the sea.

Intense but highly refreshing, Roca del Crit (Rock of the Scream) is a sublime red wine boasting red fruit aromas that won't leave you indifferent.

• Type: Aged red wine (dry, organic)
• Wine region: D.O. Empordà
• Grape varieties: 85% Carinyena, 15% Garnatxa Negra
• Alcohol content: 14,5 % vol.
• Year: 2022

• Color: Intense ruby color.
• On the nose: Notes of cherries, blackberries, licorice stick, coffee beans, and rosemary.
• On the palate: Fresh and delicate, with soft and silky tannins.
• Food pairing recommendations: Creamy pastas and rice, roasted chicken with mushrooms.
• Serving temperature: Serve between 14ºC and 16ºC.

Garnatxa: fermented in stainless steel tanks with 10% of whole grapes and aged for 6 months on fine lees in french oak barrels from Burgundy, sizes of 500-700L (2nd and 3rd year).

Carinyena: ferments and ages for 11 months on its lees in 2250L oval foudres and in french oak barrels from Burgundy, sizes of 500-700L (2nd and 3rd year). Medium toasted barrels with untoasted heads.
