Sa Natura

Straight from the calcareous soils of Terra Alta region, Sa Natura is a delicate red wine with a great tannic structure and a long, persistent aftertate.
A superb trio of Carinyena, Garnatxa and Syrah grapes that blend into a rich palatte of mineral and balsamic notes.

- Color: Maroon color covered with violet trim.
- On the nose: Dry and mineral, with toasted aromas of wood and balsamic herbs.
- On the palate: Intense and fleshy, with intense fruity aromas (plum, blackberry) and a fine mineral touch.
- Food pairing recommendations: Grilled meats, stews, rice and pasta dishes.
- Serving temperature: Serve between 14ºC and 16ºC.

Harvesting: Grapes are hand-picked from vines planted between 1968 and 1988 in clay and limestone soil.
Maceration: Following a selection of the best grapes, they macerate with their juice for 4 days at a cool 6°C (43°F) to enhance fruit expression.
Fermentation: Fermentation occurs at a controlled temperature of 27°C (81°F). Skin Contact: The wine undergoes a long maceration and skin contact period lasting 25 days. Malolactic Fermentation: This process is split, with half taking place in oak barrels and the other half in stainless steel tanks.
Aging: The wine is aged for 12 months in 300-liter French, American, and Hungarian oak barrels, with a mix of new, one-year-old, and two-year-old barrels.
