Gritelles Siurana Negre

This intense and aromatic red wine from the Gritelles winery is a great expression of the traditional Garnatxa-Carinyena blend from the Montsant wine region in Catalonia.

Silky and full-bodied, Gritelles Siurana Negre is a superb age-worthy wine that will delight all palates alike.

• Type: Aged red wine (dry)
• Wine region: D.O. Montsant
• Grape varieties: Garnatxa Negra, Carinyena
• Alcohol content: 15 % vol.
• Year: 2021

• Color: Dark red with violet hints.
  
• On the nose: Aromas of ripe fruit and balsamic notes stand out, as well as liquorice and cocoa.
  
• On the palate: Intense but delicate, with soft and silky tannins.
  
• Food pairing recommendations: Red meats with vegetables, grilled mushrooms and cheeses.
• Serving temperature: Serve between 14ºC and 16ºC. (Decanting recommended).

Harvested manually in boxes between the end of September and the beginning of October. Alcoholic fermentation with skins for 16-18 days.

Aged during 12 months in 300 and 225 liter barrels with their lees.
