La Llobeta de Collbaix

A powerful blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon with the local Sumoll and Mandó, La Llobeta de Collbaix is an exuberant red that delivers a great aromatic complexity and tannic structure.

Straight from the Pla de Bages wine region in Catalonia, this is an age-worthy wine ideal for any celebration. Also to enjoy on its own with a book in hand.

• Color: Medium colour intensity, ruby red with garnet edges.
• On the nose: Intense aroma of berries, red fruit, balsamic and toasted notes of sandalwood, liquorice and cocoa.
• On the palate: Good balance of acidity and tannin structure, where berries and toasted notes stand out. Long and persistent finish.
• Food pairing recommendations: Red meats, spicy dishes, chicken and beef stews, cured cheeses.
• Serving temperature: Serve between 14ºC and 16ºC. (Decanting recommended).

Aging in French oak barrels for 14 months before bottling.

2nd aging period in the bottle for a minimum of 12 months before being released into the market.
