Pinyeres Negre

From the celebrated Montsant wine region in Catalonia, Pinyeres Negre is a delicate red wine with a fine tannin structure and flavour complexity.

A blend of the traditional Garnatxa & Carinyena, this aromatic red wine is a great choice to accompany any rich, flavourful meal.

• Type: Aged red wine (dry)
• Wine region: D.O. Montsant
• Grape varieties: 80% Garnatxa, 20% Carinyena
• Alcohol content: 14,5 % vol.
• Year: 2022

• Color: Intense red ruby color.
• On the nose: Intense aromas of ripe red fruit, in a background of toasted and balsamic notes.
• On the palate: Fresh and well-balanced, with a fine acidity and lingering aftertaste.
• Food pairing recommendations: Meat roasts, cured cheeses, creamy pastas and blue fish.
• Serving temperature: Serve between 14ºC and 16ºC.

Harvest: Selected grapes from the winery's estate vineyards (300-400m altitude), in the southeast area of the D.O. Montsant.

Elaboration: Traditionally fermented in stainless steel vats using a cooling system. 

Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.
